Sorrel Bank House

Room 3, 1st Floor (has ramp and lift access)

25 Bolton Road

Salford

You must have an appointment. Please do not turn up without one.

In-person appointments are still permitted during covid, lockdown and all tiers as I am a CNHC registered therapist. I will discuss with you whether you qualify for an in-person appointment and help you assess the risk.

Remote appointments are also available via video or telephone call.

WHEN YOU GET HERE

Head towards the chemist and go up the ramp or steps. Our entrance is right next to it. This entrance is separate to the GP practice also based at Sorrel Bank House.

Wear your face covering upon entry/exit or when moving around the building.

Buzz the buzzer when you arrive. Please note I may not be able to respond if I am in a session or doing the cleaning. If you get no answer or are early, please text 07944 856640 and I will let you in as soon as I can. We do have a waiting area but are restricting use to minimize covid risk.

Another practitioner may answer the buzzer, just let them know you are here for Trauma Therapy Manchester. They may ask you to wait outside or be able to show you in.

When you enter the main door, to your right is a no touch thermometer. Take your temperature using the wall mounted thermometer. If it lights up green you are ok to continue. If it lights up red you will need to return home as this means your temperature is above 37.8 degrees which is a symptom of Covid.

Please sanitize your hands.

DRIVING AND PARKING

Our facility is conveniently located 2 miles from Manchester City Centre and is easily accessible from the motorway network.

At the mini roundabout take a left and Sorrel Bank will be on your right-hand side.

If approaching from the M60, take junction 16 for Salford and take a left onto Bolton Rd. Continue for approximately 1.5 miles and you will then approach a large roundabout. Take the 2nd exit onto the A6 Broad street and keep in the left-hand lane. Take the first left off the A6 and at turn right at the bottom of the Road onto Charles Street. Drive under the bridge then turn right onto Langworthy Rd. You will then arrive at a mini roundabout. Take the third exit and carry straight on. Susi Wrenshaw is registered as a Yoga Therapist with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council. The CNHC is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. The Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA) is the independent government-appointed body that oversees and scrutinises the work of the nine statutory medical, health and care regulators. These include the General Medical Council (GMC), the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC). Since March 2012 the Professional Standards Authority has also been able to accredit registers of health and care occupations that are not regulated by law and CNHC has successfully completed this process.

“Both the Government and the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) recommend that when a patient or service user chooses to visit a health or care practitioner who is unregulated, only those on an accredited register are consulted”. (Jane Ellison MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Public Health, November 2015).

General Medical Council guidance to doctors confirms they can refer patients to practitioners on Accredited Registers, such as CNHC.
